In 2001, Ongarri published the book Eibar ciudad taller (Eibar, the factory city), which, in addition to photographs by José Ronco, the texts by Nerea Alustiza and Luis Ulacia invite reflection on the urban implications of the industrial process that characterized Eibar in the second half of the 20th century and propose a series of urban interventions that would enable the recovery and updating of the industrial image that has characterized the town of Eibar.
This website is based on that book, although it includes some later images.
